I am an NDT certified PT with 15 years experience. After getting my certification as a Yoga instructor last year I wrote a 2 day continuing education seminar (the Yogic Approach to Rehabiliation) that teaches therapists how to use NDT facilitation techniques and Iyengar style modifications to use asanas with patients with neurological impairment. I am currently working on developing some techniques to be used with quadruplegic and paraplegic individuals. I am working to incorporate a wellness focus into traditional therapy models.
