Kat Fulton is a speaker and board-certified music therapist with specialization in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) music therapy and rhythm-based wellness. Kat has recently spearheaded NICU music therapy programs in San Diego County. She is also passionate about bringing people together through rhythm; she hosts several Sound & Synergyâ„¢ events throughout the year as well as providing rhythm-based events for various groups and organizations such as wellness retreats, staff development workshops, team-building events, and retirement communities.
Kat offers vibrant, experiential lectures and has presented for various groups and organizations including the American Medical Student Association, Southern California Association of Neonatal Nurses, San Diego County Perinatal Social Workers Association, and the Council of Pre-Health Organizations at San Diego State University.
Kat is Director of Sound Health, an organization that encourages, enables, and empowers group and individuals to explore and develop personal or professional potential through music experiences. Our team of highly qualified and trained board-certified music therapists design interventions using music as the vehicle for positive change within corporate, wellness, healthcare, and educational settings.
