Deborah Quilter is an author, consultant, certified yoga teacher and personal trainer. She has written two books, The Repetitive Strain Injury Recovery Book and Repetitive Strain Injury: A Computer User’s Guide and has appeared on many television and radio programs. She has developed a special program to help people overcome injuries without exacerbation and strain, with an emphasis on repetitive strain injury (RSI) and has successfully helped many people with various backgrounds achieve a greater level of function without further injury. She has taught Yoga workshops and teacher trainers widely, and founded a program to teach yoga to senior citizens at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City which was featured on Martha (the Martha Stewart show). She was also awarded a Diversity in Teaching Yoga grant by Kripalu for this program. Ms. Quilter has presented her work both in the United States and abroad and is on the faculty of the Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga and Ayurveda.
