Prana Physical Therapy provides result-oriented alternative healthcare and movement therapy reimbursed by most insurance companies. Physical Therapy services for orthopedic and neurological conditions are provided in private 55 minute sessions. Thai Massage sessions combine rhythmic massage, acupressure, assisted yoga stretching exercises and deep relaxation for a truly blissful healing experience.
Ann Airey received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in 1992, after completing all educational and fieldwork requirements to sit for the NATABOC certification exam. Ann has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 1992. Ann received her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1998, and has been a licensed P.T. since 1998. Ann has been practicing and studying yoga since 1999. In 2003, Ann completed certification as an Advanced Level Thai Yoga Therapist through intensive study with Saul David Raye.
Ann combines her experience gained as a PT in inpatient and outpatient orthopedic and neurological settings, and her passion for yoga therapy in her private practice Prana Physical Therapy located in Northern Virginia. Ann's work has been published in Yoga Studies, the online journal of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and the Shivago Journal, a publication for Thai Massage and Thai Herbal healers.
